Ways to get Planning Center Giving into QuickBooks Online

Four approaches, and what each one puts in QuickBooks. The question that separates them: does each entry match a deposit your bank actually received?

Manual CSV and journal entriesDownload each payout from Planning Center and key it into QuickBooks yourself.

Export each payout's CSV from the Payouts tab and enter it by hand. Planning Center's own guidance: "record journal entries in your general ledger instead of individual payments."

Deposit-matched sync (Constat)Planning Center Giving stays where it is; every payout is tied to the bank before it posts.

Gifts are grouped into the payouts your bank sees: from the payout report, or grouped from Planning Center's processing dates and held until you confirm. Nothing posts without an approver: their approval, or the auto-post rule they turn on. Works with Planning Center Giving to QuickBooks Online.
